Farewell Remarks

It's been a memorable 5 plus years here in Lee House!

I dare say these halls have never heard such saltly language (sorry Mrs. Melody, but I am sure you know your daughter by now!) We've all become familiar with a new terms like:

GDMF and "too Good!"

In all seriousness, Erin has been such a major part of all that we have accomplished here over the last five years, I know I could not have done it without her.

She had played "bad cop" far longer than she ever wanted to, but in that process she has developed a wonderful core of admission professionals we can all be proud of.

Long hours, dedication to our mission far beyond what is expected on our paystubs, this is what Erin Melody has been about during her time with us at Saint Peter's College.

I speak for all of us when I say thank you for your gift to us, the gift of your labor, hard work and dedication to our Jesuit College.

This SPC family will miss you, but we also take joy in your new life. Loyola Chicago, like a number of other Jesuit Colleges, has come calling many times over the years, sooner or later, we were bound to lose you to one of them!

We wish you all the best in the Windy City, and as your cousin, Tom Hanley said, 3 down, 25 more to go!
